Seattle is a shit hole, filled with drug-addled dopers and homeless criminals. Watch your back and never leave anything you value unattended.

Seattle wasn't bad at all, same problems as other big cities, but otherwise great hospitality, food and crowds/traffic weren't bad

This is a pink salmon run year. I'm a total rookie, but others are catching em' right now.

The first trip to hurricane ridge it was foggy and rainy all day. Without knowing if we'd be back, I took our Mercedes rental down that hellscape known as Obstruction point road. It was awesome! A pity we had no views but some stretches were so narrow, wet and windy I probably prefer not to know what the drop looked like nor had to negotiate with any other traffic. We made it to the end, hike a 1/4 mile in 40 degree rain and wind to get a few pics and got outta there, visited some waterfalls instead.

Saw salmon jumping upstream in the Sol Duc river, no fishing. I tried to talk fishing to the guys at the Pike's Place fish market who toss the fish, most of the fish aren't even local, the guy tossing fish was all song and dance. Disappointing.

Hit up 4 waterfalls over the next few days, saw a bobcat run right behind us at Hoh rainforest. The coastal sunset night 1 was perfect, no clouds, every shade of red, orange, blue and purple. Night 2 was all fogged up.

Unfortunately I didn't fly my drone but twice due to rain, restrictions and lack of effort. Didn't get a lot of good footage
