Default Heading to Maui this week

I will be there for 5 nights and looking for local intel on must do's. I have a chopper tour lined up as well as an ATV trip. Opted out of the biking down the volcano and whale watching boat. Any suggestions would be great. I will also be returning in July for another week.

We did they zip lining through the eucalyptus forest, the road to Hana in a rented Jeep, the aquarium, fished out of Lahaina and of course a luau. You can also snorkel either from the beach or by by boat. There was a little local hole in the wall restaurant "Big Bruddah", that had great local food. Have a great time.

P.S. The reason for the Jeep is because rental companies won't let you drive on the back side of Haleakala volcano with a car or van.

Thx MR; Plan to rent a jeep for 1-2 days. Where is the aquarium located? Did zip lining in Tulum last summer, not my cup of tea.

The aquarium is at Maalea harbor, north of Kihei. BTW, zip line isn't your thing, helicopters are not mine. My Moto used to be, if god wanted me to fly, he would have given me feathers up my butt.

Four Season is toward the south in Wailea. Really nice there. We stay at World Mark.

We always stayed at Grand Wailea which is next door to Four Seasons in S Maui. Went at Christmas for 10 years when kids got beyond Santa.

Wasn't much on Zipline either.
Did the biking down mountain twice. Just have to leave hotel around 3:30A
The snorkeling at Molokini has really declined due to pressure, but we still go.
Half a day at Lahania for shirt shopping.
X2 on Mama's. Would always hit it around opening time.
Did road to Hana once, and once was enough. Took a jeep.
Check in with Maui Dive Shop on what's happening.
Don't know much about Kanapalli (sp?) area but would drive over every now and then. Think Ritz in that area.
Kept a rental for duration but you can go to Kihei and usually rent a jeep for the day.
Walk up the hill to Shoppes at Wailea, good stores in there as well as places to pick up snacks, sandwiches, etc.
