There are literally hundreds of boat yards, brokers, and manufacturers in the area. Check out www.yachtworld.com or www.boattraderonline.com

I am in the PAC WEST right now and the boat market is wide open!! You can get almost anything you want. Southern California Market is very differant, there is not a variety of boats available like up in the North.

This is where to shop for a used boat all up and down the 5 from Medford Oregon to British Columbia it seems. More available for less and in Southern Cal there is less variety of styles and cost more.

Just an observation while up here working and looking.

Have fun looking. I'd like your opinions on the dealers you encounter as to good or bad. Thanks

Once the 19th HOle is sold I will post more of my findings but to start shopping without $$$s is a waste of time just at the looking stage right now.

steve
when you are on boattraderonline, check out c-hawk boats
we just got a 222 sport cabin.
C-hawk builds a really nice 25' pilot house, there is one on there right now for 16k,
you could rewpower with twin honda 150s or a single 225 and be into it for under 40k.
We got a shipper to bring it out from the east coast to so cal for 2500$.
They build a solid hull and we love ours.
By the way we launch out of channel islands harbor on a weekly basis if you ever want a test run.
