Default Desolation Sound Boat Trip - British Columbia

Whether your are on the West Coast or not, if you are passionate about boating this place is one for the bucket list.
Only a small taste of how amazing Desolation Sound is. Just chartered a bare boat and did the trip this summer and can't wait to go back!
7 Days was not enough.... more videos to come.

We've cruised the San Jaun islands,Gulf islands,Desolation Sound, and beyond for over 40 years and still haven't seen it all.Its truly a Boating Paradise. So much to do and see.
British Columbia is by far the best, yes I know Alaska has it all too just that i'am particularly fond of B.C. maybe because it's a lot closer.

For the past 11 years I have been going to Desolation sound and the gulf islands every summer. I always go for 3 weeks. Every year I seem to find at least one new place to anchor for the night that I haven't been to.
No place better for cruising. Well actually there is but those are secret places

It's been a few years since I don't cruise around desolation sound. I remember safe anchor places and a few really nice restaurants around. Great evenings and scenery.

Great trip! I have boys of a similar age. What month did you go? Did you do any fishing?
