Default Bringing a Vessel back into the US

Hello. What if a previously documented 30 foot vessel was sold and brought to Bahamas...came up for sale, purchased again and brought to the US? Would like to re document it.

In order to re-document this Vessel you must confirm if it was registered in the Bahamas and has flown under a foreign flag. If so you would be required to demonstrate a Letter of Deletion from the Bahamas. If the Vessel was never formally registered you may use a notarized Bill of Sale from the selling party to convey transfer of ownership or alternatively if you have a State Title/Registration in your name it may be used as evidence of ownership to proceed with documentation with the US Coast Guard.
