MakeoverBoats became AnewBoat which became ShipShapeBoatworks and is most recently called Xtreme Fishing Boats... Andrew Frank Desimone has changed company names four times in the last 12 months... Google MakeoverBoats.Com

The ad says basically they're selling a boat for 25% of what comparable models go for. Either...

this isn't true

or

there's a darn good reason it is so cheap

It would be awesome if one of you big money guys on this site would pay a boat surveyor to do a complete survey, as if you were going to buy the boat. Then post the survey on here and under the Facebook ad. If they live up to their past name, I'm sure there's many hidden Band-Aids all over that boat.

I just read that this guy was going by the name "The boat doctor."

As a rule, I will never give business to anyone who calls themselves "The xxxxx Doctor" unless the person is in fact a Doctor.

This goes for The Driveway Doctor, Dr. Auto, The Crawlspace Doctor, The Gutter Doctor, etc. Anyone calling themselves by this moniker likely charges way too much and probably does substandard work. You've been warned.

Would someone who is or has done business with him post a pic of him? May help some folks avoid doing business with him.

I don't blame you. Didn't we go to war to escape the oppression of the Monarchy? "Presidential Pizza" sounds more appropriate in the U.S! Burger King and Dairy Queen are also suspect!
