They cater to the OEM boat business. Once things slow down again they will answer the phone if they still have customers. Strange way to run a business but to each their own.

You're so full of crap! I selected the Edgewater 268CC from your brand list and it gave me the exact cover. I did review the dimensions which looked pretty close so I purchased it. It didn't fit so I asked for a simple refund and offered to pay to ship it back but you refused because your company is a joke. You mislead buyers by allowing them to choose by the year/model/brand when you know it won't fit all the boats. Trust me, you're gonna lose on this more than me. You'll be out of business soon!

I have frequented THT for many years like many others do without the need for posting. After recently getting screwed by RNR Marine recently, I decided to see what others were saying. As expected, it was negative. I wanted to warn others of my experience so they don't get screwed as well. I wish I read this thread before I did business with them. If my first post bothers you in some way then too bad.

So, you join on the 14 of this month to complain but yet you say you have frequented this site for years to see what people have said and yet you still bought something from them.
The joke is on you

I thought their service was a bit less than desired. I ordered some canvas pieces for my boat from them and had not heard anything for about 8 weeks figuring that was the lead time they needed to complete the order. I called them and was informed that the bow piece was no longer available so my order was basically left in limbo without me being notified. They promptly issues a refund and I ended up going to Great Lakes where my canvas was originally made. No problem with GL service.

You're not to bright are you sparky. I wish I had researched RNR Marine on this particular purchase then I would have found that they're not a reputable business. It's not often you run across a business that treats their clients this way. I hope my feedback on the THT saves many from making the mistake I did. So come on, give me your next genius retort. I can do this all day.

The only one that's not to bright is you for not doing your due diligence in researching before you bought
Had you done that you wouldn't have any need to join just to bash someone.
So who is not so bright SPARKY?

Oh boy, you really got me there sparky. I have no business not being perfect like you. And the idea of warning others of my bad experience is just horrible. Maybe someday, if I work really hard, I can be as smart and wonderful as you. You, who I'm now guessing works for RNR Marine or why would you care so much and keep responding to me. Wow you sure are a clever fella. Balls in your court scooter.

Hello THT Friends,

I just wanted to thank all of you who took the time to let the reset of us know about the unpleasant experiences you have had with this company. I was in the final step of a sizable purchase from this vendor and was about to hit the "pay now" button. Realizing, I knew nothing about the company I was sending my money to, I quickly ran a google search and came across this thread.

Thank you for the heads up. The supposed "Black Friday Savings" certainly aren't worth the crappy experience many of you have endured. I refuse to deal with companies that won't answer calls or emails unless they are responding to a thread. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Again, much appreciation for saving me the time and money!!!!

Good boating to all!

Default Difficult to reach, difficult to resolve complaints in a timely manner, etc.

I purchased an exact-fit canvas and found it would not fit. Further digging with the manufacturer revealed a mistake in the advertisement of fit details. One would have thought after admitting to a mistake it would have been an easy return/refund. Instead, it lead to an all out battle to obtain a refund. I described my experience with RNR-Marine, Inc. in full detail on BBB.org where they have four unanswered complaints and one unanswered review that results in an overall rating of an "F" and one star.

For the most part, we are an online company, and correspond via emails. This is the most efficient way to communicate with all of the customers we have.

Ron1cne, I checked you order, and found that you worked directly with Westland, not RNR-Marine on your issue. Once notified of the misfit, we requested the photos that Westland always asks us to collect. Once we found out that Westland had the wrong pattern for the boat, we tried to do a refund, but you had already created a PayPal dispute, which takes 10 days for them to arbitrate. Unfortunately, our hands are tied when that happens.

I'm sorry that the Westland cover was not right for your boat, and hope you can find the right one...

What you told my creditor is that I did not return the boat cover. In order for me to get a full refund, I had to prove I had shipped the cover back because you denied receiving it. I'm surprised at this point that you want to bring the vendor's name into this issue. I never had a problem with the vendor. They treated me well and tried to help. They even let me know that not only had they received the boat cover back into their warehouse but that they had issued RNR-Marine, Inc. a full refund already for the purchase order you sent to them for the boat cover I paid you for. The reason you were charged a fee by my creditor was due to your not actually wanting to click the refund button. So instead my creditor found in my favor and had to issue a credit back to me. I am told by my creditor that is when you incurred the fee. The issue could have been simply and quickly resolved by your issuing a refund. The bottom line is customer service and you did not meet my expectations with that regard.

Yeah it's funny because I was looking for canvas for my overnighter and found RNR and they use a Mount Pleasant SC address so after trying to call I figured I would stop by maybe even bring my boat and see what they had. The Address is bogus the place doesn't exist.
Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably price bimini enclosure for a 91' Grady White 204c Overnighter?

Check with Great Lakes Boat Top. They were the OEM supplier for the canvas on my GW. Ordered the aft drop and the bow tonneau from them. Both pieces came within a couple of weeks and fit like a glove.

Ordered a cover from RNR marine it was sent to the wrong address and returned to sender. I can't get ahold of anyone by phone or email. Not blaming them for the address issue but I would really like the cover or my money back does anyone on here know how I can contact them?

Sorry if I missed it, but what exactly is the relationship between RNR and TTOPboatcovers?
