Default Buck Woodcraft takes care of customers

Placed an order with them on the fourth of this month for a compact starboard glove box and received order confirmation shortly after. I figured that they were made to order but I called on the 15th just to get a status update. John, the owner, answered my call and realized that my box had not been started yet. He was very apologetic and genuinely upset about it. He assured me that he would work the weekend to get it built and in the mail by Monday. He also threw in a water tight rubber gasket for free for my troubles. I told him not to worry about it and that it wasn't that big a deal, but he insisted. That's solid customer service. Just wanted to let it be known here on THT.

Are you being sarcastic/passive aggressive?

No. If I had a problem with them, I would not be passive aggressive about it, especially on a forum. I am complimenting the owner of the business for going out of his way to make sure that his customer is happy with his business.

I'd like to hear your review once you have it in hand. Ordering something on the 4th and having to crank up the owner on the 15th so he finds the misplaced order doesn't make me want to jump into having them make me something.

I just had a custom project made by John @ Buck and he was great to deal with. I couldn't get FL Marine Plastic's to return emails or phone calls so I searched out John and he did everything he said he would in the time frame discussed. I should receive my project tomorrow and look forward to seeing his workmanship. I give him a solid two thumbs up!
