Default Short Rant about auto fuses

Why can’t auto makers stick to one style of fuse?

Because they have engineers working for them. Every engineer has to come up with something "innovative" to justify their existence. May as well be new fuses. At least the guy that was wasting his time on that wasn't scheming up start/stop technology, or modern diesel emissions controls.

Its all about size and cost reduction. Look back 10 years ago and see how many fuses where on a typical vehicle. Compare that to the number now.
