Default Sport Trail - Amazing Trailers

I know others have posted about Kevin's work, so I just wanted to add to the growing number of satisfied customers. When I bought my boat (21 Parker SE) last year the trailer (galv EZ Loader) was it was in rough shape from years of neglect which led to about $900 in repairs and I got a season of use out of the trailer. Two months ago, on a dawn patrol fishing trip, one of the axels went and I was looking at $1600 in repairs (there were other issues including electrical problems) and the trailer is not worth more than a grand. So I made the decision to get a new trailer and priced several locally and around the country. I knew what I wanted in a trailer since I trailer up and down the east coast = aluminum I-beam, guide bunks, a way to get in and out of the boat while on the ramp since I fish alone often, disc brakes and as little metal to worry about rusting. I looked at Load Rite; Owens and Sons; Hi-Tech Marine and Loadmaster (all priced within $500 of each other) and the one I really wanted - Sport Trail. I spoke to Kevin Desselle the owner and he could not have been nicer or more helpful. His pricing is competitive with the others, but wow what a product he turned out. He built one bad a$$ trailer for me. I am awaiting delivery and could not be more excited-here is what he turned out:

Very nice looking trailer...

One suggestion, attach some sort of hand rail (could be a simple folded over rod ) to your front steps. It needs to be as high as the front of your boat. You really do need a hand hold to help steady yourself when climbing stuff like that...

Again very nice

Thanks Joeken - your prior post about the company and your build was a big reason for me looking into having Kevin build me a trailer.

very nice !!!! so that new one is the same price as a Load Rite with bunks ? I wish there was a builder like that up here in the north east as I am in the market for a new tandem bunk trailer. Thats a bit too far from new york, dang it !!

Seems like every time I see a new one trailer of his, he manages to improve and enhance upon them more than before. I drive by bis place nearly every weekend and I need to stop in one time.

This is a first class outfit.

I believe both. It was a direct sale for me in my area. I know there are dealers from Louisiana to Florida.
