2015 GMC 2500 6.0l. Cobalt R7.
After years of Ford Superduty trucks, I changed things up.
Nice truck, first gasser, but the new Ford PSD is more my style..

Beautiful Boat....How big? Us bow rider owners have to stick together around here! I pull it with a 14 Sierra.

Default Glacier bay towed with a Dodge Cummins

Love the truck for pulling a heavy catamaran.
Fold the radar arch, hitch the boat and it will go anywhere.

Beautiful boats! What engines do you guys have?

Went on our first long haul (100+ miles) with the Ram Hemi and Excalibur. Tons of hills, compared to last year with the V6 4Runner, the Ram was effortless!

New style 430 6.2L Volvo Penta.
Truck is a 6.0L gas 4:10 rears. Not a bad package locally, but not a long haul tow vehicle.
I'll be ordering a 19' F-350 Super Duty Platinum if they introduce the 10 speed trans.

The Cobalt 21-23' is a dream boat of my husband and I. Beautiful, do enjoy it!

As for transmissions, I was a bit skeptical after 6 speeds for the purpose of extra ratios and why anything more would be needed. I'm now a believer how it keeps you exactly in the power-band. The hill sensing capabilities of modern transmissions and shift logic blow my mind (the little things ) but that's what happens when you grow up with 3 & 4 speed GM transmissions

I'd like to order a new Super Duty now, but not with their outdated crappy 6 speed. The 10 speed will be PERFECT for keeping the sweet spot consistent when driving. Another exterior update is coming with the 19MY also.

The boat is everything we expected. We're Lake Erie/Lake Chautauqua boaters, so it's perfect for what we use it for.
More expensive than competing brands in the category, but has no equal, save for Formula. The Cobalt MY 17' + interior quality is more impressive than the Formula bow rider IMHO.
