That’s about right for a high end 1/2 ton, cheaper than a Ford for sure! F-150 Limited 4x4 is high 70’s or more!

I saw a few of these with those 22" wheels and tires.

I don't know why they get me, but they are the dumbest looking wheels and tires on these trucks.

Proportions get my eye or something.

I could get by with a 1/2 ton these days, but I just can't see paying the same price for a 1/2 ton as a 3/4 diesel. Just makes no sense to me.

Go price a 30 Grady White like you have now. It probably cost the same as 4 of those trucks.

Truck and boat prices are what they are

Sticker and what you pay are two different things. My 1500 Bighorn listed for $50000.00. I paid $37000 and I got them to throw in running boards.
A friend of mine paid around 50 for a truck that listed for close to 70. A lot of people walk away from these sticker prices and buy used. But then a lot of people probably pay close to the sticker price.

Then they wonder why they went bankrupt, also lining their pockets didn’t help or poor management. I don’t know why they put such a high msrp to then drop it 20k by the way. I guess it makes the buyer feel better that he got the greatest deal in earth and pulled a fast one on the dealer. And the add-ons are crazy priced. They keep this shit up and we will have another 2008 in our hands. It’s crazy to think that, at least here in Miami, people are paying $10-20k more than asking prices on homes.

the rebates simply help with financing. It makes it look like you getting such a great deal to the bank. They see MSRP and you buying it for well under that price. So banks finance like crazy.

My ram 1500 stickered for 47,000 but I was out the door including tt&l for ~33k.

Chevies were even further off sticker.

The only tough negotiation is on a tundra.

Insanity. My dad and one of my good friends bought brand new Dodge 2500 Cummins 4 door SLTs in 2014 for 45K for comparisons sake. Almost double for am almost useless 1500.

A lot of people complain but this is top of the line, you can get any old XLT Ford or Big Horn Ram for cheap still. Most of what these makers sell are middle road trucks, their bread and butter is not the Limited, these are just the headline grabbers.

My 2020 RAM Laramie listed for nearly $59k and I paid $44K. Sticker price is total crap on Chrysler products. They put on a huge sticker price and then put what looks like a huge discount. Also since the manufacturer sets the MSRP and banks will do at least 110% of MSRP it allows them to sell to people who are stupid upside down in their current vehicle.

And the big rebates are on the XLT and Big Horn models, the top end get a lot fewer incentives. Platinum, King Ranch and Limited Fords have almost no incentive unless you finance with Ford credit, I think I got $1650.00 and financed with Ford!
