Default Any gulf cost GMC dealers stocking 2021 Yukon XL Denali?

Slim pickings over here in LA. Was hoping to buy one before the end of the year. If you know of anything within an hour or so of Baton Rouge let me know. Thanks.

I believe you can search inventory by looking for dealers within XXX miles of Baton Rouge. Houston, for example is BIG on trucks/SUVs and may have more inventory available.

I don't know about the Yukons, but I've been looking for a new gas HD Sierra and there doesn't seem to be much in inventory. Used the GMC website inventory search and they show me four trucks. One truck is in Florida and another is near St Louis. I am near Washington, DC, for reference.

I'll try again next summer. I hope the production lines are stable by then.

Fly to Laura and if you don't have time to drive it back, they'll deliver it and still likely beat anyone elses pricing by at least 4k even after delivery

Have your dealer find you one on a dealer transfer. If they refuse to do it, THEN go to the dealer that has what you want. Going to be difficult to get a deal on a low inventory vehicle though unless you're military. In that case GM has a program for that that you should be utilizing.

If you are a Costco member, go through their auto program. GM Supplier Pricing plus a $750 Costco cash card....pays for a couple months worth of gas.

Thats what Im shopping for now. Their inventory is down to zip compared to where they have been in the past. There just is not alot of inventory out there on new trucks. Pricing remains crazy !

oh it's nuts right now, going to continue to be for the next year or so if I had to guess. I'm going to keep trucking in my 14 year old ride until things normalize somewhat.

I was also surprised by the small and limited inventory when my wife's car needed to be replaced a couple of months ago. Albeit that it was the regular Yukon Denali and not the XL, dealers said it was due to Covid, supply chain, and plain demand. Showed up to a dealership where one Denali was damaged during shipment, the guy said the buyer was told but bought it anyway! Shopped the local dealers and only one had one car that wasn't the color combo we wanted. After a week, found the color we wanted, called the dealer and they offered to save it with a deposit. GM had discounts for the company I work for and was able to get $4500 off the sticker price. The dealer said they were not offering any discounts and was shocked he was able to offer that much off. Got some small other things thrown in before the discount was given. Good luck!

We have about 3 months and 5500 miles on the car, it's really a huge improvement over the past models. Wife's old car was a 2015 Cadillac Escalade, the new version of the Denali is huge improvement in ride! The rear suspension makes a big difference. Wife also had a 2012 Yukon Denali XL, the new Yukon is more roomy in the 3rd row! I'm 6'1" and can fit in the back seats. The newly designed interior is great!

Good luck in your search!

I found one locally finally. 2500 more than Laura but I don’t have to go to St. Louis either. Black in black Denali. Beautiful car.

Idaho is a long way to go from Florida. It would have to be a very good out the door deal to make flying there from Florida and driving back economically feasible. Still, if you have the time and have not been out West it could be a fun trip.

I just bought a 2021 2500 HD Duramax Denali for 8900 off sticker. Had to search for the deal.

The GMC place in New Iberia had a few Denali XLs when we looked.
