Hi just got a new f250 xl with a 6.2. Love the truck but the only thing I want to add is a keyless entry pad. Is it possible to add one? Mine has only a keyed lock for the door.

Should be possible if you have power locks. Not so much if not. Believe ford is going power locks on most stuff now?

My brother added it to his F150 and only had to change 1 thing in his computer. So I’m sure it’s possible. His was a wired keypad however.

Check with Ford Parts to see if you can get a key FOB added to electric door locks. The keypad is a different animal, since they're tied in with a security module that's programmed though the OBDII system.

Some of the aftermarket sound system/security alarm stores may can fix you up with remote locks for less money.
