I may be needing to park my suburban outside from December through April in SWFL. It will not be driven. Should I cover it? I would like to cover it to protect it from the sun but I didn't know about moisture from rain, dew etc. I know there are some good breathable covers out there.

I store a vehicle 6 months a year. I use an inexpensive cover. When the cover is removed after storage the vehicle is perfectly clean. Why not use a cover to protect your vehicle? It is roughly equivalent to indoor storage.

Do not cover it. It will be fine. A wash and wax and it will look like it did before you parked it. The sun angle is low. And UV will not allow mildew..Vehicles site for months on car dealership lots in Florida.

Yes I do know that the winter is much milder. If this was the summer would be a different scenario.
