Trailer Brakes
Anyone know how to get trailer brakes to work? I have a 2020 ram 2500 and a brand new tidewater trailer with a dexter dx7.5 brake actuator. The trailer has disc brakes on all 2 axles.

Not sure on your particular trailer, but I have a dual axle with brakes on all four wheels and it is recognized by the vehicle through the 7-pin adapter that connects the trailer flat plug to the truck round plug.

If you are expecting the brake controller to turn on and be usable, it won’t. You have a surge actuator that works on its own.
