To Jack up or not jack up trailer over winter

Current trailer is 10 years old, with ten year old tires. That's 10 years of sitting on the ground every winter, not jacked up. It's been fine, but tires are now due to be replaced due to age.
I don't take the tires off.
I don't even jack it up.
I don't do anything to take the weight off the suspension.
I do drape a small tarp across to keep the sun off the tires. The other stuff just seems like a solution looking for a problem.
