Recently bought the rear step for my F250. Install was easy, clear instructions and the parts fit with no mods needed. Great add on if you need one.

Ludicrous price!
Doubt I'll spend much more (if any) on side steps/bars but I've GOT to have something to get up in my new 4x4 F250 bed. I've never understood why Ford can't comprehend putting built in steps in their rear bumpers like my GM trucks have had since my 2002 Avalanche had them?
Guess I'll bite the bullet and pay the price because I sure gotta have SOMETHING! For $250 damn bucks they should come in pairs so you at least get access on either side.

My '04 Land Rover Discovery had a similar step to put stuff on top of it, and to get in the back. It had a spring and gas strut to retract it. (not mine, but similar: )

My 2018 F350 came with a nice slide out step in the top of the tailgate. It's useful when I remember and my tailgate is on.

I just step onto the low spot in the middle of the rear bumper (by the license plate) when I can’t put the tailgate down and use the built in step.
