Hole in axle

Default Hole in axle

Just launched my boat and saw one keel guard was missing. There were two holes in the axle where the rivets from the keel guard were.Water got in so Im wondering what if any is the cure? Drill a drain hole and then epoxy closed, re poprivet,or let it go?

Pictures of cross member would help . You should be fine , entire trailer goes under water.
