Default EGR and DEF delete cost

yes I know the epa is cracking down on it and yes I know a lot of shops aren't doing it anymore and yes I know it does effect the trade in as many delaerships won't take it.

my questions is how much should I expect to pay for an egr/ def delete/ with a 4 inch exhaust and new tuner? I do have a shop who is wiling to do it, just trying to see if im not getting gouged. thanks

You haven't said what truck you have so the level of difficulty is going to depend on the truck. A Cummins is exponentially easier than a PSD or Duramax due to being a simpler engine and there being more room to work around the engine.

its really hard to say the cost. with the epa crack down and the risk to the shop, i would imagine that the price of it is going to increase! your choosing to do it comes at a unstable time, compared to years past.

You said it yourself - the real expense comes when you go to sell or trade it in.

Done my 2014 Duramax tuned with Kory Willis EFI Live. Deleted exhaust with 4'' flow pro straight pipes. K/N Air Induct with 165 Air-dog lift pump. Fuel Filter bypass. Material & Labor = 3000$
Great fuel mileage and runs like a bat out of hell.

Now I'm just waiting for that CP4 pump to go out. Just a matter of time. They don't tell you all that stuff when installing. The 165 lift pump helps it out. A new CP3 pump will run you 2500$ installed
