I had a 2004 Avalanche 2500 w/ 410 axles, pulled 12k -rated for that. Loved the SUV, had to sell do to rust (michigan) If you find a clean one worth the $ they are going cheap. Its the SAME mechanicalyy as a Suburban....

Hard to find but an absolute deal! I believe they got the Allison transmission as well.
