Had a '13 Platinum before that and it was trouble free so thought I'd take a chance with the new 10 speed and upgraded motor. Was going to wait on a 7.3 to come in but dealer made me a deal that I couldn't pass up. Only did a test drive and the ride home so only about 15 miles on it so far. I'll see how it does after driving it to work for a few days.
off topic but what did they give you for trade on the raptor? Im about to do the same with my 18. DM if need be.

Really nice truck and actually the price seems pretty good given F250, I see guys buying F150's for that and kinda shake my head.

Made a quick run to the office this morning. Set the cruise at 70 and was showing 22mpg. That's about 5 more then my '13 got.

Not in the market but I'm curious what the comparable fuel burn of Ford's two gas Super Duty engines will be. With the F250 still having the six speed behind the 6.2 will the F350 with the 6.2 and 10 speed do better?

I'd love to put a gas 7.3 with a 5 speed NV 4500 behind it in a Jeep.

Anybody been following the "saga of the 10spd?" I understand there's been several lawsuits filed, even now a class action against Ford by F-150 owners. I'm curious to see how that trans has held up in HD use and also the GM version. Personally I think anything over 6spds is an answer to a question that nobody asked. But these new 7.3gas F-250s are on my watchlist so obviously that trans is the only option.

the 10spd in the 3/4 and ton trucks are not the same as the 10spds in the 1/2 ton trucks...

I've got the 6.7 as well...just got it back from the shop. My 2-3 shifts were clunky for the first 60 or so miles. I had a rear bell housing seal fail somewhere between 400-540miles. Might be something to keep an eye on.

will do and thank you for the heads up. The 2-3 and 3-4 are a little clunky here as well. I believe that it works itself out as the trans learns. Hopefully this is our case too.

The new 6.6 is DI and will be about 5% more efficient as the DI engines are. It will be just like the 6.0 it replaces but lots MORE low end torque. It will be a worthy competition to the 7.3 gasser from the blue oval.

We Bought a 09 F250 Harley 6.3 crap motor, 2011 F350 King Ranch 6.7 great motor crap interior, 2016 Ram 2500 Cummins Mega Cab Limited great motor crap truck in shop 6 times first year and problems never resolved. 2017 F250 Platinum 6.7 Great truck hated the seats and dog could not climb up anymore poor old guy. Got a 2018 F150 3.5 eco boost loaded out Lariat for the dog can't wait to get rid of it I want my Diesel back. Just priced out what I want in my Lariat 250 and no thanks 78k for a freaking truck kiss my ---. I'll wait for someone to sell their used 2020. I will also keep an eye on that GM 6.6 in the meantime sounds like it may be a good one. I don't want a 7.3 that has the same HP and Torque as my 150.

i highly doubt that. We have a 2020 6.6 and a 2016 6.0...the 2020 is a lot bigger and heavier truck, the new 6.6 is still with the outdated 6 speed and we cannot tell a difference in power between the trucks
