Default 2020 F-250 with Tremor Packsge

Finally test drove a late model (2019) F-250 Platinum diesel today and the wife approved! It doesn't have the wide stance of the Raptor and the bed is about a foot too long but otherwise I was impressed. The salesman (self-admitted new to the game) said the 2020s with Tremor package aren't supposed to hit the lots until spring which I thought to be quite late. I dont have a choice but to wait, but really hoping they stick to Fords timeline of end of year.

In other news, if anybody here works sales and can do better than X-Plan, you've got a potential client waiting!

I've not run into a scenario yet where a longer bed would have served me better, but I can think of plenty of scenarios where it would have hurt me. Hell, the 5.5' bed will fit uncut/stock 4x8 sheets of plywood with the tailgate down EZPZ.

Try hauling 16' stock when you only need a few pieces and don't have time to go get a different trailer. PITA.

much better peace of mind to do it with the tailgate up though! always fun trying to strap everything in so nothing can escape the open tailgate

Agreed. I do it all the time. 8' bed. Flagged and strapped. With the tail gate down, that's only 6' hanging off and then I also strap it to the Arm that helps you get into the back of the bed.

We sold our 17 F250 Platinum in August and bought a Raptor while waiting for the 2020 F250 to drop.

love the Raptor but really miss the bigger bed and power of the diesel.

Im a little intrigued to see how these Powerstrokes work with the new 10-speed transmissions.

Five Star Ford in Carrolton, TX has a 2020 Platinum 6.7 with tremor package. Offered them 77k out the door with my $2500 PCO and they declined. If anybody wants to spend more, it's available!

Dont't worry. Plenty more otw. Driving around here in Louisville and there is a seemingly unending caravan of Superduties coming off the assembly line and being test driven. And they are sharp.
