Default protection for roll up cover for bed

this is the first time Ive had a soft roll up cover on my truck. I live in Sfl and I assume the UV will eat it. Does anyone put any type of protection on theirs?

There are a bunch of spray-on products out there. I use Truxedo Pro-Tex and have liked it so far.

I have a Truxedo Cover, guaranteed for life. As long as you don't use a silicone based product (Armor-All) as a protectant. Mine is 10 years old and looks like new. I only use Vinylex as recommended by Truxedo.
