Dropped the old guy off for some body work and paint. Stopped by and checked on it yesterday.

Had that same white truck as yours long gone but I miss the sound of the gas sloshing around behind the seat glad the tank never leaked

That one has more years ahead of it than most of today's new offerings, I call them hard bodies cause the sheet metal is like plate steel

Curious what you're planning to make the body lines match since a 2016 is different from a 2002??

Haven’t given it to much thought. My current bed is completely rotten so a year ago I grabbed the ‘16 bed which will bolt on no problem. I need to weld on a few new cab Lower body panels. May even just have it Line-X’d depending on how smooth I can get the repairs.

End of the day it’s a work truck so even if the lines dont match perfectly it will look better than it does now.

I have a 2003 Super Duty and put a bed on from 2016 Super Duty. Body lines match perfect, only difference is fuel door is rectangular on 2016 instead of round. Rear wheel well arch is wider also. Beds form 1999 to 2016 will match up.

This has been my project since 2011. A ‘73 my dad bought in ‘78. Work has been on hold since late 2014 when my first kid was born.

I posted my 77 F350 dent-side in the duallies thread. It needs a little loving but it's a farm truck. And yes, that IS a birds-nest between the dump and rear axle.

My '89 7.3 diesel

Dog is enjoying the A/C that I just got working. Oil leaks fixed, turbo rebuilt/upgraded, axles rebuilt, suspension/steering replaced. Going to jack up the cab and pull the bed over the winter so i can change the cab mounts and paint the frame/underbody. She gets 21mpg highway about 17 combined.
