You will not find an 83 with only 349 miles anywhere else (or here )
Gauge was changed out around 119 K due to gas gauge not working.
ed d and alfnator like this.

Little surprised this Jeep has generated no interest at all... Scramblers, especially rust free / road ready ones, are a rare find.

Still for sale.

Where is the Jeep located? I can pass this on to some fellow Jeepers here in the Savannah area. Might get some interest out of these guys.

I would checkout JeepForum.com

The Scrambler is highly sought after. People might complain about the price but she's clean and you should be able to get that or close.

FWIW- That's an aftermarket replacement speedo/odometer.
Not a rolled over original one.

Correct... Factory speedo was showing round 120K when it was replaced.

Add 100K to that
that's not really what you said in this post?
Any CJ with a replacement speedo becomes TMU.
I've had and restored countless CJ's. You mentioned no interest. I won't nit pick the appearance, fender flares...
No jeep buff would buy a clearly true mileage unknown jeep where the seller was claiming the true mileage was indicated on an aftermarket speedo.
That's one of the reasons you've had little interest (at that price point).

Great Scrambler

Followed one on a classic car auction that sold for way more than what you are asking.

If you got some pics of the engine and underside would love to see it. Still have the Carter carb or was it modified to a Weber or fuel injection? Those Carter carburetors have a bad wrap, but they are pretty good as long as you do not try and modify them too much.

I got a couple of newer trucks I need to find new homes for--- You want to trade?
