Why do people ask for opinions and get annoyed when they are given? Why does the book value not matter? In that case, I have a 2010 F250 that's valued at 33k, but I will sell it to you for $45k. It has low miles and was on one of those spinning ramps at the dealership, so it is also a show truck. Please send me a deposit for $1k after you pay the other guy back.

Here's the 7.3 for practically 30k.

I think his habit is trying to sell old trucks at high prices.

True, but it also seems as though his other habit may be ripping people off too....

What's the scam? If he lists this for sale, buyer beware.

You accepted my offer on your 7.3 F250, asked me to "Secure it" with a deposit. Then you delayed the transaction claiming you were waiting on the Duramax you were buying from a family member and couldn't go without a truck. Meanwhile you were listing the truck I had "Secured" on e-bay for a grand more than what you accepted hoping to get a few more bucks.

I called you out on listing it and since.....no response to e-mails or phone calls.

Are you going to send my deposit check back Paul?
Are you going to reimburse me the money I paid to have the truck inspected?

What gives?

Funny how the OP left this "tidbit" out of the original post. Who's breaking out the noose? I have found a tall tree.

The OP sounds like he is looking to fleece someone and is here looking to soothe his conscience.

Where did you mail the deposit to? Maybe we can go make a housecall.
