Default Post Count

Any idea why my post count is not increasing.

I'm looking to ask the forum a technical question and a pic of the issue would be helpful, so I'd like to get to 10 posts to do that.

After posting several times in the test forum, my post count seems to be stuck at 1. My first post was several years ago.

As far as I know, I am not a robot.

Ok, never mind.

Do posts to the test forum not count?

Any good ideas on how to get my count to 10 without spamming a regular thread?

I feel your pain. I am also not a robot. I apparently have to get my posts up before I can start any threads. Please forgive my responding, but I have to get posts somehow.

Please, have a great week!

FWIW - I believe multiple posts in the same thread do not add to your count.

Once upon a time... They did. Then the software changed and they didn't. I don't know for sure what it is now because I seldom look at my count anymore.

Thanks,

Looks like posts in test don't count either, but it does look like multiple posts in one thread does count. Before I started this thread my post count was one, with the 2nd post in this thread it was 3.

Now it should say four (until I post again.)

Posts in non-boating forums do not increase post count fellas.

Remember the purpose of the rule: to get you to be a contributor to this boating/fishing community before you access new privileges. Don't try to game it, it doesn't work out well.

I read somewhere that the purpose of the rule was to eliminate spam.

Some people think a high count makes them more credible. You can ID these folks by posts that read...

Me too - Yup -LOL - or quote another post without comments.
