So IB doesn't care? I can't even type this without the screen jumping. Right now jumps to post61.

well, still there after all. Blocking plug-ins helped, but not at all cured. Toyota ads are the killers.

I am. My mac book is jumping around like mad. I'll see if I can do the things you did to stop it.

Come on THT. This is a PITA and needs to be fixed. Constantly jumping to ads.

My MacBook Pro has been doing the jumping described, when the video ads are shown. I'm using iOS Sierra Version 10.12.6 (16G29) and Safari Version 10.1.2 (12603.3.8). I am attaching a screen shot of the perpetrating ad, but there were many other videos that performed this way, most of them as a poorly formatted side banner, like this one. Safari even had a problem occurring with this webpage, forcing reload. All this only occurs when video ads are present.

It seems particularly bad tonight, so I was looking into if others were experiencing the same issue.

It is absolutely connected to Javascript. I turn it off at safari-preferences-security. Works fine on THT WITHOUT javascript. Javascript works fine everywhere else.

X2- went to Safari-> preferences> unchecked the (enable java script) No more issues... as of right now. Prior to this, the site was unusable. Only issue so far is I can't like posts... NBD.

So do you understand the issue? I have experienced it on Windows 10 with Internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Also with the most recent version of Apple IOS. If you don't understand there is not a way to send a screenshot. What happens is as you scroll down the page resets to the top of the page, scroll down some more and the page resets to the top again. This issue is caused by the vertical banner add on the right hand side of the screen. I agree with others it makes the site almost unusable. Hope you get it fixed soon, it will run all of the newbies with funny questions away.

A member was good enough to record his screen and send us a video of what happens, so we know what it is. Thanks everyone for your reports!

I updated flash to the latest version and it stopped. Which seems really weird to me as others have said it was java.

why is it only on this forum?

I have a handful of forums related to various activities and interest of mine that I visit regularly and none of them have this issue.

This board has begun to post video ads within the threads and it cycles through 22-24 ads on average. This severely slows down my ability to scroll through the page and I'm running 100mb internet at home, and 300mb at work... Issues at both places. It makes the site virtually non-navigational. I understand the need to bring in revenue, but this is EXTREME.

This continues to be a huge problem when trying to use the site. I can't even type this post without the screen jumping around. My only conclusion is tht is more concerned about advertising revenue than member convenience. This is a pain!!
