Default THT bad ads

Virtually every time I come to THT, my computer is attacked by what seems to be a malicious software upload.

The upload replaces the THT web browser window with a new pop-up window, claiming my Adobe Flash is out of date and demanding that I upload a new version. No option to reject this request is allowed. There is no way to close the window, as the pop-up only has an "accept" button.

The only way I am able to escape this upload is to Force Quit my browser.

This ONLY happens at THT.

The upload is from a website called: www-dmgyoufile-com

The actual website has "." where I have inserted "-" above, to prevent it from creating an active link. In doing some research on-line, I found this info about the dmgyoufile website:

https://discussions.apple.com/thread...art=0&tstart=0

Anybody else having this problem? Anything that can be done about it?

I appreciate the response.

The malware isn't on my computer. I have been able to prevent it from uploading so far. It is on the THT website, and attempts to upload from there.

Hopefully someone in tech will see this and can figure where it is coming from.

Default Rogue advertisements.

I browse this site on an iPad, and at least once a day, an advertisement will take me away from the site.

I know you need the advertisement $s, but letting the ads take your users away from your site is the last thing you want them to do.

Try clearing your cookies. You may have a bad cookie associated with THT.

If there were a THT virus you would not be the only one reporting this

I flush cookies regularly.

It's definitely associated with the THT website. Happens nowhere else.

Curiously, since posting this thread/question, it has not happened again. Knock on wood.

Can you provide a screenshot of the offending ad? Also is this on the mobile or desktop version of the site?

Just started getting this also. Here is where it takes you... http://rewardsget.com/special.php?c=...9&t=1479427765

I only get redirected when on THT. Why does THT have so many issues? You should hire new IT guys.

Can you try posting a screen shot of what you see?

get it and keep it running. Malware is tough if not impossible to get rid of sometimes. But malwarebytes does a great job and since downloading it, thanks to the mods suggesting here, we've had very few issues. It's one of the few programs I've seen that will run along-side anti-virus software without conflict.
