Default How Do I Start A Thread For Seeking A Boat

I am interested in posting a thread that I am looking for a boat. I get rejected being told I need to subscribe to Admiral to sell a boat. I am not trying to sell a boat.
What do I do?

An incurable affliction for many on here no doubt. I've seen many of these threads. Usually in the regional sections. Most work around the edge of the topic vs specifics that would fall under wanted to buy, Parker Model XYZ. Now how close to that edge is for the moderator to determine. The more of a discussion about a type of boat you are looking to buy, the easy it seems to pass by. The Admiral subscription is not terribly expensive and hey, it helps to pay for a very useful and informative boating site. Your mileage may vary. Opinion void where objected by the moderators.

If you're wanting to buy a boat, and you're worried about spending $15 for the Admiral's Club, you should probably rethink the boat idea!

Ads are ads. Doesn't matter if it to see something or seeking to buy something.

As far as I know you can browse the classifieds for free. Have to contribute to post though.

Just spend the $15. Then you can look at all the pics in the sandbar too!

There is a Boats For Sale and Wanted forum. You have to be an admiral's club member to start a thread in it. That's your only option. I broke down, paid my $15, posted a WTB ad, and had the boat I was looking for in a couple of weeks. That was after watching classifieds and the like for months. Worth the $15.

You can pay the $15, get your membership and bequeath your Admiral title to your lady, like many folks on here, and earn some point at home. It's not like you're in charge anyways. A win win situation for $15.
What was the question?....oh yea, you're looking for a boat.
