Default Nascar 2019

Well I guess the season has started with Jimmie Johnson winning The Clash today and William Byron winning the pole for the Daytona 500. (Kinda ironic.. Jimmie's longtime crew chief wins the pole for William Byron, but Jimmie wins The Clash).

Well I setup a fantasy racing league. It adds a dimension to the race for even those "NASCAR Haters"

Sign up on Driver Group Game. https://drivergroupgame.com/sign-up/
Once you establish your team, then you find a league.

The league that I set up is "THT NASCAR Racing League". League ID# 1741.
https://drivergroupgame.com/league/t...g-league/home/
The league password is THT2019

This is an offspring of the Yahoo Racing from a few years ago. We shall see if this works better than some of the sites from last year.

NASCAR haters need NOT reply.lol

The real question is, which will have more viewers this season, nascar or the Alliance of American Football?

NASCRAP = What non-racers enjoy and actually consider racing. REAL, true, actual racing NASCAR was on life support well before Dale Sr. smacked that wall went to the great beyond! Since the early 00s, Nascrap has died on the vine and shown exactly what happens when the decisions are removed from true racers and promoters and instead are placed in the hands of a third generation, silver spoon fed dumbass who thought sponsors and tv executives actually knew WTF would keep the sport viable... another industry RUINED by the pc eliteists.

This years "winner" of the Joketona 500 should have to fight Richard Petty or Cale Yarborough on Victory Lane with torque wrenches!

I know a "Photographer" that works with a small Race team up "Nawth"..
He attends/photographs for said team at Dover/Pocono/Richmond & Martinsville..
He also Craves a local made BBQ Sauce called CT (Carolina Treet BBQ), So I sent him a bottle..

Chatting up with Him a couple weeks back, He informs Me he cannot attend the Bojangles 500..
Can I go in His place to take pictures..
He says "check your e-mail" and I received the "Tickets" pictured above...
ALL I have to do is Wear a White plain T-Shirt, As He put in the request for "hot pit passes" for Me also.. I cannot disclose said race team until "after the fact" I'll receive "gear" to wear when I get there..
I'll be seated at slightly left and 15 rows up from the Start/Finish line..
I'll I have to do is obtain a 8 mega pixel, (or better), cheap camera, and take pictures!
Me & the Misses have never been to a race, expect a practice session at Darlington several years ago..(for the Xfinity series)..
Woot!

Hehe.. I kinda knew the thread would just draw in the haters.

Oh well.

I gave it an attempt to find an engaging way to watch the series.
I really knew that it would draw haters in like moths to a flame.

I still enjoy it and go to a couple races a year. Darlington is my favorite. Hot passes are the way to go, I watched Gordon's last race at Darlington from his pit stall

Years ago I had a full access pass as a guest of Petty Enterprises (Charlotte). It was awesome access to all the stars of the sport.
That said, even the crew was watching the race on the TV in the pit box. The cars came by the pits so fast that all you saw was a blur from the pits.

Never been there except for "practice",,
To all you Haters, of nascar,, Turn right straight outta town..
This Will be MY FIRST, most likely ONLY race at a track.. I hope to ENJOY the Racing Experience..
Me & My Misses experienced Xfinity practice years ago.. It was AWSOME!
FEELING the engines "vibrate" though your body as they went by was, well something else..
Quite different than watching in front of your TV, drinking beer..
I HOPE to make the most outta this.. me & my Misses, our first race eva!
ANY TIPS from race fans that been to a "full race"???
I want this too be a real experience for Me & my Wife..
With minimum hassle..
I also understand this, the race is about "sold out" remaining tickets are 200.00+ (If you can get them)..

If you've never been, especially so with the little lady, then yeah go ahead and have a blast. BUT for the true gearheads amongst us, the true things that made NASCAR what it originally was have been gone for many years!

If you want to REALLY feel engines pounding your body and boiling the air around you, then catch a Top Fuel race at a NHRA event! Only thing louder and more "air pounding" is/was a NASA rocket launch.

So I'm being lazy and watching some of the race whats this stages crap. So they have three races in one. I heard about stages but I didn't realize they actually take a break between stages. I guess it been a long sense I have watched NASCAR and I think it will be a long time until I watch again.
