OK, I am going to predict today's winners.
France over Argentina.
Uruguay over Portugal.

Time for Lionel to poop or get off the pot. Telling everyone you’re the GOAT 🐐 doesn’t make you the GOAT

Belgium/Japan, what a game, best game of this WC so far, can't wait to see Brazil/Belgium.
Still hoping England can win it all.

Im kind of rooting for England because them young boys take way too much heat in the media in ENG. Its disgraceful how one day they call Raheem Sterling a bum for flying with common people on an airplane and not at least paying for first class. The very next day calling him a show off for buying his mother a car. Its always the most petty write ups. But I also won't be upset to see Belgium take the W.

.

if the Red Devils ever get around to playing the first half they could win this thing.

Wonder which Brazilian team is going to show up.

England has finally performed when it came to penalties ! My lord they ended regular time in such England fashion but broke the cruse after extra time.

I truly didn't have faith in Pickford but he received a gift.

What a horrible game, the Referee lost control of the game early, and it just kept getting worst, number 5 and 9 for Columbia should have been red carded, they made no attempt to play the ball they both were man hunting, the penalty was on number 5 and he should have had a lease two more.
we are amiss in every aspect of that game, to think that is the best Ref in the USA
Congratulations England, wish you the best moving forward.

if he is the best referee in the US, then the MLS has big issues. This guy definetly got paid well. A guy with questionable record, had been suspended before... he should not be a FIFA referee, maybe for high school...
Colombia 9 should not have been yellow card, it should have been the opposite...if you know anything about soccer, you can't slide with cleats up.... Not to mention the gol that was dismissed...after england played the ball, single ball on the court, and he dismisses, really... never used the VAR, he knows why..

I think Geiger was handed a world cup appearance solely based on the fact that he has had the most experience using VAR. If that is the case, he should only be in the VAR room and not on the pitch. Refs are always an easy target so Im not going to get into that.

BUT the minute I heard that he asked Ronaldo for his jersey after the 1st half of the match, I knew he wasn't fit for the job. That is a complete joke.

Ironically, he never used the VAR for a lot of questionable plays, even when the line referees where making the right calls, he was dismissing them...... he should be fired. I can tell you this will be his last time as a referee outside MLS.

If he had used the VAR, he would have red carded the Colombian player that head butted the English player, no excuse for bad behavior.
#9 was screaming in the ref face all game, their sportsmanship was terrible.

I agree that he should have ONLY been in the VAR booth. Thats what I thought was going down when I heard he was going to the World Cup. Had no idea he'd be on the pitch. Now imagine if he gets the final !
