Default Boo-freakity hoo

These pampered, spoiled, delusional athletes protesting the National Anthem and the United States might want to take a step back and look in the mirror before they kneel in protest of racial oppression in the US.
I tell you what you pampered, coddled and over privileged toddlers,.... why don't you put on a uniform of any one of the branches of service, spend a couple of years serving your country, fighting for the freedoms that we cherish (maybe even risk your life in the process) and then see how you feel about your ridiculous "protest".
You make me sick and I wouldn't spend a penny to watch your pompous, ignorant, disrespectful, and quite simply unappreciative selves play one second of football this season.

To the NFL owners and management; you disgust me! How can you pay millions of dollars to these cretins only to have them spit in the face of the county which povides them their fairy tale existence?!

Do these fools even know what they are protesting for or against?? Some of them may have temporarily known financial difficulties, social difficulties; but none of them know oppression. From the minute they exhibited athletic prowess they were placed on an entirely different scale. For Kaepernick and Marshall to "protest" against racial oppression is simply ridiculous. What have they done to help correct the problem? Where was their intense concern over the past few years while they were making millions of dollars playing a game (while a wealthy white man signs their paychecks)?

Rant over.

For the third time,

It really is "WHAT" they are protesting that has everyone's panties in a bunch. What if they were protesting the erosion of 2nd amendment rights?

Just make it a team rule to stand and not jive around during the anthem.

Playing for an NFL team there are a host of rules that you must follow. It is not a right to play in the NFL. It's a privilege that they get paid very well for.

You don't like the rules, don't play. Very simple.

It is all a bunch of BS and even pisses me off more that the broadcasters had to zoom in on the ass hat several times.

I suppose they would just look at NFL rules like they do the law of the land. They are above it in their minds.

No it's not "what" that is the problem. The problem is "how" these individuals are choosing to protest.
If their lives are so rough and this country is so racist then by all means they should feel free to give up their superstar lifestyle and money, quit the NFL, pack their bags and leave.
Those players aren't there to make political or social stands; shut up, stand for the anthem, and play football!!!
It is absolutely disgusting that the NFL brass and team owners haven't put a stop to this or even mentioned it.

I personally wish they would leave the Anthem out of Sporting Events, it's not a patriotic/recruiting/government event. Play the game, or actually.....protest the game and don't play. This has gotten way too much publicity

Your own response proves my point. If they were protesting the way our government was whittling away at our second amendment rights, this place would be in full support of it.

Mute point as second amendment supporters would not protest in this fashion.

You really think that hardcore 2nd Amenmdment supporters would protest by refusing to stand for the national anthem or perhaps burning a flag?

Pat Tilman comes to mind....a real man with courage of his convictions and gave his life for our freedom and turned in his football career to do so.
These other shitheads should review his life and story.

Turned on the Dolphins - Seahawks today. Immediately noticed that several Miami players had decided to sit out the anthem. Turned off the TV before the first play. And will not be tuning in again. Screw them!

We got the pregame for the Tampa and Dallas games. Both were outstanding.
