Me. Watching whenever I get the chance.

Stayed in the same hotel for a week with the womens u-20 team in January while they were in Florida and got friendly with several of the players (not in that kind of way). They autographed a soccer ball for my 8 year old daughter who is also quite athletic in her YMCA soccer league.

Of course I am watching. Give my player of the match award to Pinoe. Totally controlled the second half and that run and goal was a classic. Guess that defender never learned that trying to slow the attack and laying off the player with the ball is a good thing to do. BUT you don't back down inside your own area....but we than her......lol

Megan Rapinoe in my opinion is the best all-around player on the US squad, Sydney Loruex looked good.

Abby Wambach is done, the US should be starting Loruex and Alex Morgan up front with Christine Press out wide, Rapinoe and Holiday can control the mid-field against any team.

GO USA

Wambach had 2 headers that should've been goals. The first one she totally whiffed on and the second was off the mark. She usually makes those.

When Alex Morgan is 100% I imagine she'll be starting but I'm not sure for who. No way in hell they bench Wambach.

And, yeah, Loruex is smokin hot

Definitely watching Team USA, big fan and player (played through college and beyond). Thankfully Solo was on her game early with some huge saves, we could have really been in trouble if not for her. And Australia definitely looked very good in the first half, not so much in the 2nd.

I watched most of the 2nd half of the men's game vs Holland at Amsterdam late last week, what an ending, 2 goals in the last 2 minutes to seal the win for us....they play Germany tomorrow at Germany and most likely will get stomped on.

Go USA, we need a big win Friday vs Sweden.....and frankly Nigeria looks pretty good too.

Im not sure Abby is done just yet. I sure do wish we could get Alex on the pitch more! Watching the Japan v Swiss game last night a number of the Japanese team might well have been born as men...

Hope you are right, we need her height on set pieces in the box, however if you watch her play the past couple of years, she is that proverbial half step slower.

In the past she would arrive at the ball under full control, able to place the ball where she wanted it, today she seems out of control arriving a bit late and having to hurry, making plays out of convenience rather than by choice..

Germany had a lot more possession. But we were much more creative and had the better chances than the Germans. Finally starting to see the flash from Bobby Wood that Jurgen has been saying is there. And the dummy from Morris was the definition of creativity.

That my friends was some world class play today.
