Well love him, hate him, whatever the case he will be a big part of the story this week. Personally I don't think he has much of a chance given the time off he's had from the game.

Not to completely derail the thread but here's who I like for the green jacket

Spieth- a( total grinder and hell of a putter)
JB Holmes (fearless lately)
Dustin Johnson (back on track after Gretzky told him to pull it together)
Patrick Reed (confidence but backs it up)
Bubba - (I personally think Augusta favors a lefty a bit but that's just my opinion)

I love this...

The reason why no one in golf calls out their golden boy is because of the money.

I know one thing, once Fuzzy got himself some decent clubs his playing picked way up.

Personally, I hope he does well and stays healthy. Healthy is key. I think this Masters might be different for him. His kids are there. Lindsey is there and he looks to be having "fun" and enjoying the moment. If he can stay healthy and mentally in tune, he might do well. And no one can deny that when Tiger does well, Golf does well.

A friend and I pick a 5 man team for each major, we play $100 total money for the 5 man team, its a bit like fantasy golf. He dared me to take Tiger. I did and after seeing coverage of his practice rounds and his par 3, etc yes he is having fun, a different approach than we've seen before but his swing looks like the swing he won so many tournaments with. Love the guy or hate him it would be some tournament to see him make a run at it.

My full team

Spieth
McIlroy
Jason Day
Phil
Tiger

Phil is on there because he has the experience and he did play well last week except for a few mistakes.

The media seems to believe that Bubba is unbeatable now at Augusta. I like his chances but I am just not sure about this one. I would have taken him but he was my buddys first pick.

Rory wins by 5, yes he is that much better than all of them. Spieth's golf game is built for the US open not Augusta. Sergio, Stenson and Day make it interesting for a little while. Bubba implodes, Tiger makes the cut and Phil is in the top ten.

X2, I personally know 5 guys that either still play the tour or have retired and all of them say that he has had a tremendous impact on the game, in a positive way. BTW most of these guys are not a fan of him personally, they just admire what he was and how he has had an impact.

Serg is better between the ears now that he's older and will be there with a chance on Sunday. Jordan can win, he got 2nd last yr and knows how to play Augusta and he's a phenomenal putter. I agree, Phil top 10. Ricky Fowler will be around the leaderboard, that guy is a clutch putter. Tiger, a has been but he had a good run. Ernie's going to fade back. McIlroy, who knows, he could light it up at any time.

Tiger found something today on the course. He hit some horrible shots today but he hit some very good ones. If he shots under par tomorrow, look out weekend.

He is all washed up because he is short off the tee.

Jordan hits it no where off the tee and he won by how many ?

You sure do have to hit it straight or at least your misses have to go the same way. Tiger has been fighting a two way miss for years. Until he fixes that he is going to struggle. Can't hit some left, some right, some straight.
