Only Miami, Washington and Portland have advanced so far. Overtime has become the norm for many, especially the Thunder - Grizzlies .

These are maybe the best playoffs games I have seen since Magic/Bird ....MJ/Ewing in the eighties.

I can't see Memphis beating OKC without Randolph, the second round should be exciting, San Antonio VS Portland...........OKC VS Clippers in the West, not sure what will happen in the East,Miami however should win the East regardless of the second round match-ups.

With all of these tight series combined with the publicity (no such thing as bad publicity) surrounding that moron owner of the Clippers and his tranny ex girlfriend, the NBA and the network advertising departments are probably making animal sacrifices to the ratings gods even as we speak to show their gratitude for this first round.

Sooo true, we had :

1) the most consecutive OT games in a series 4
2) Most game 7's in a round 5
3) Most OT games in the 1 st round 8
4) Most games decided by 5 points or less 21
5) Most road wins in a round 23
6) At least 2 games decided on the last shot with less than 1 second remaining

No doubt there is more

That was the most unbelievable 1st round ever, just fantastic.

But OH Wait, it's not over yet, 2 more game 7's today

Yikes !! Another 1 point game !! We barely got past the improved Raptors, but the next series should be much easier

Hope Miami got rusty waiting for us

That was the most entertaining 1 st. round of the NBA playoffs of all time

Deron Williams was terrible in the second half of game 7, either he steps up his game (if he still can) or it will be over quick.

Welcome to Miami Brooklyn Nets!

Just got back from the game and that was a great team win for Miami.

That was playoff mentality that not many teams are capable of. Haven't heard what happened to birdman, hope it's not serious. And welcome back Ray Ray.

I see us sending garnett to his retirement with a loss in miami in game 5, what a sweet sendoff that will be, pierce should follow his lead.

Miami's path to the championship will be much harder this year as compare to last, they give up home court to Indiana and any west coast team other than Portland will have home court in the finals.
Four second round games, four blow-outs, GO CLIPPERS.

Pacers are going to lose the series to the wizards 4-1. The wizards are a good squad. Vastly underrated.

Garnett 0 points

Williams has been erratic all season, if he doesn't step it up the Nets are dead meat.

But it's only one game.

I hope the Nets show up tonight, once Miami gets a taste of blood, they know how to finish you off.

Unfortunately the best team did win - again

Garnett and Williams are killing the Nets.

If they can't take game 3 at home, you can turn out the lights in Bklyn, the party will be over.

Is Williams hurt?, I know he tweaked his ankle a couple games back, he looked terrible, Garnett is old and well past his best days and so is PP, JJ looks like he left his best days in Atlanta, the Nets are toast if they don't win two at home.

i don't agree with this, at this stage in the miami heat team cycle, 3yrs and 3 finals appearances i don't think home court is as important to them and to their abilities to win a game. for them right now it's all mental, skill levels being equal or less to other teams their mindset will win more games than homecourt.

being on the road is not a big deal for a team full of veterans who have experienced what they have over the last 4 yrs.

With due respect I disagree, here is why, if games six and seven was in San Antonio last year the Spurs would be the defending champions.

JJ carried them in the Toronto series, Garnett is a shell of what he was and he can't play center. Losing Lopez drastically changed the lineup.
Pierce has had some decent games, but Deron Williams, ( who used to be considered with Chris Paul, as the best point guard) , has lost a step, and his shot and confidence. He is always grimacing as if he is hurt, he is a bit soft.
He and Garnett are destroying the Nets playoffs. Teletovic kept them in the game for 3 1/2 qtrs. last night. Thornton and Teletovic have to rain 3's for the Nets to win. Beating Miami 4 out of 5 is a daunting task.

Last night was the first time I've seen the old Ray Allen, they will need his shooting to win it all again.

And the lord said: " Let it rain 3's in Bklyn"

15 of 25 from beyond the arch

That is one W

9 points 11 assists for Williams - much better
19 and 6 for JJ
4 of 7 for Teletovic from deep, and some nice rebounding and D
and drum roll please 15 and 10 for Blatche

By far the Nets best performance of the playoffs.

Too much pride for them to lose 4-0. They are losing in 5 games. Heat take next 2.
