Default Who's going to get Peyton?

My guess is the Jets. Mark Sanchez will then be traded to the Miami Dolphins.

Jets Offensive line is too thin and too awful, no running game. Jets don't fly with Peyton.

He doesn't want to go to NFC as that may pose conflict with Eli.

KC offered him a contract today, sight unseen. He goes to Miami and Denver for visits over the weekend.

Denver has a defense, running game and talented receiver. Tebow is humble enough to take back seat and learn how to be real quarterback that thinks on his feet instead of his knee. Good fit.

Same for Miami, They have defense, good receivers, Bush has proven he can stay injury free and do some heads down running. With Reggie Wayne also a free agent and Miami alumnus, you have instant Super Bowl potential if it becomes a twofer.

With a 3-5 year life expectancy, Manning wants championship NOW! Something he knows won't happen with Ryan and Johnson.

Don't know why Houston isn't after him. Down to a 3rd string QB they made a great run. With Manning they would be a serious threat.

Skins trade for Rams #2 pick to lock up RG3....Jets extend Sanchez's contract by three years.....Flynn to Miami??? I'm thinking Peyton is either gonna be a Bronco or maybe bite the bullet and be a Cardinal

...and he already has residence. Consider the fact that Florida has no state income tax as well.

Miami is probably the "best" fit. However... and this is a stretch, Peyton would also make a fine coach. Ever since Shula left, that to me has been the biggest failure, lack of solid leadership, which was the hallmark of the franchise, years ago.

Who wouldn't want him? Tennessee is where he played as a college star but He's gonna pick what works best long term.

hahahaha.......that's funny. Reggie Bush has a better chance of being on dancing with the stars for his dancing skills he's known for on the field

In all seriousness, any team that gets Manning will be a team to contend with. He's a great athlete. If you saw the video of him throwing, it's 100% obvious he has a few years left.

I don't see him going to the Bronco's. I really do not think he wants to get into the Tebow crap. If he goes to Denver and they cut Tebow he will be the villain. If Tebow does not get cut and Manning starts out slow people will be calling for Tebow. He can't win plus the cold weather could be a factor!!!

KC is a good spot for him. They have 35 million in cap space so they could add any players Manning wants but you still have the cold weather factor. Miami makes sense because he has a house here already, likes the area, and the weather is good.

I don't see him going to Arizona because he likes the AFC. IF Houston got into this I think it would be OVER!!! He could play in a dome with a team that is LOADED PLUS play the Colts twice a year!!!

BTW, Congrats Jet fans for you team pulling off one of the STUPIDEST moves I have seen in a LONG time. Are you kidding me!!! A 45 million exeinsion with 20 million guarenteed For Mark Sanchez ;? !!! What are they thinking? You have a marginal QB who has been publicly criticized by team mates for numerous things.

They still had him under contract for this year and hopefully will bring in a QB to push him. What happens if they bring in someone like Chad Henne that beats him out? They could have waited until mid season to see how he was working out and then pulled the trigger then if he was doing well. STUPID, STUPID, MOVE!!!!

I like it though since I am a Fins fan!!!!

Payton really doesn't need the money so that shouldn't be a motivator. Since he only has a relatively short time to play I think he will go to a team that he feels gives him the best chance to win now. Miami has too many holes to fill and has been/is an organization in chaos. I don't think he'll end up in Miami for the simple fact that it can't surround him with the players he needs!

SSF - I agree and throw in the fact that they hired the play making genius Tony Sparano as their new Offensive Coordinator! Really? They are sniffing to much glue!

I think the Bronco's will step up. Elway likes Tebow as much as he dislikes him. He can't get rid of him, people in Denver would string him up. Tebow is the future of Denver but Manning should be brought in for some good lessons plus make them a legit contender. Besides, Taylor Swift is gonna make Tebow weak.
