Default Brady, Bucs and more...

Brady to the Bucs... and maybe Bill Gates and Derek Jeter buying the Bucs. All 3 (Brady, Jeter, Gates) were meeting together in Tampa Sunday night (secret).

Tampa's offering 4 years at 30M a year 100 million guaranteed.

I'm practicing to be a sports reporter. Apparently all you have to do is make shit up.

Remember he was definitely going to Titans, Raiders, 49ers 🙄

The career cliff for old QBs is very steep. Brady could go tits up at any point. No way I would sign him to a big contract.

Only thing he has to prove is that he can do it without Belichik.

He can also prove that it was a bigger factor than his talent alone - ie, his success is tied directly to the Pats organization.

He's a Buc and he's probably moving into my neighborhood (for real). I might lend him my guest house and let him drive my supercars, but I'll just have to remember to re-inflate the tires after he uses them.

Manning had played only 13 NFL seasons before signing with the Broncos. Brady has 20 NFL seasons with the Patriots. Brady was obviously an all-time great, but no way I would sign him to a big deal.....

Hes played his entire career in the
same system that was custom designed around his strengths and weaknesses by genius coaches. A 42 year old immobile QB with a weakening arm going to a brand new system could be a disaster...

Yes, I am a bitter life long Pats fan, but I dont see this ending well. Looks like a stunt to sell jerseys and fill seats to me...

Exactly. I find it hard to believe its a 4 year contract. Is that confirmed?

Pats have always known when to dump big salaries of declining players.

Yup, that's how I'm looking at it. I have nothing against Brady...he is great, possibly the GOAT.

I just think what may be uncovered is that he's not the type of player who can win anywhere.

Or maybe he can, who knows.

[QUOTE=Bernie1951;13451429]He has nothing left to prove and a lot to lose

TB is not PM at the end with Denver. He threw lasers all year with nothing but Jules.
TB went 9-7 as Winnie threw 30 pics.

TB has the young line, 2 receivers, and 2 tight ends.
I see this as a chance to take a team a long way.

He will put seats in the stadium.

Anybody is better than our turnover machine Jameis. All those passing yards don't matter when you lose the game due to turnovers.
