Default Should Houston Astros be stripped of their World Series title?

I feel like it should... they cheated. It was systemic. Every batter had an advantage. They took away the Dodgers main advantage (pitching). It's proven. It was coordinated.

Yes they should be stripped. Stealing signs has been going on since the game was invented. Sneak a peek here and there, steal the sign from second base, that’s all part of the game. Using electronic equipment from anywhere off the field is a whole other story. He’s any record of the World Series should be trashed.

No....move on.
only because it opens the door to previous indiscretions - steroid era and on.

Regardless of knowing what sign was shown it easy to change which each signal means...and you still have to make contact...sign stealing is part of the game...and will be.
If 1 is a fast ball and 2 is a curve after one inning...your a moron

Personally, I think Houston should be stripped of its title and given harsh penalties (losing draft picks, etc.) that will discourage other teams from cheating in the future, but there’s no way it’ll happen because the players union would never allow it.

And if Houston is allowed to get away with this, why is Pete Rose suspended again??

Relaying stolen signs via electronics is against the rules.

It’s hard to get really worked up about Houston cheating. Yes they should not have done it and should pay the penalty but look at the playing field they are dealing with. Baseball is a sport where you have a few teams like ny and la that can spend and she’s almost any players they want. In 17 ny and la each had a payroll that was 100m more the Houston.

that does not seem like a fair system so hard to get worked up over Houston stealing signs.

Yes. It should be awarded to the Patriots.

So your comparing payroll of different organizations to illegal sign stealing? Last I checked all that payroll hasn't gotten the Yanks or Dodgers a WS. However it's gotten Houston a championship, an MVP and numerous other awards. It also resulted in guys getting sent down, traded and straight up losing their jobs. Every Astro involved is also tarnished in MLB for life, this is not going away.

Yu Darvish's WS appearance resulted in allowing nine runs in 3 1/3 innings across two starts, just to mention one instance. I think its very easy to get worked up about it.
