Sunday, January 19

AFC Championship

The NFL Today (pregame), CBS 1 p.m.

Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs, CBS 3 p.m.

The AFC Championship Game will be hosted in Kansas City for the second year in a row. Andy Reid is one win away from making his first Super Bowl appearance since 2004. Might this FINALLY be the year that Big Red gets over the jump? The Chiefs are certainly a force to be reckoned with but one can’t count out the Tennessee Titans. The presence of Derrick Henry could allow the Titans to play keep away and limit Patrick Mahomes’ opportunities.

The Titans and Chiefs previously faced off at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 10. Tennessee escaped with the win after blocking a game-tying 52-yard field goal attempt at the end of regulation.

NFC Championship

FOX NFL Sunday (pregame), FOX 6 p.m.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers, FOX 6:30 p.m.

The NFC Championship Game will be hosted in San Francisco. Well, not really, since the 49ers actually play in Santa Clara, which is nearly an hour drive south of San Fran. But you get the point.

The 49ers previously hosted the Green Bay Packers back in Week 12. That game didn’t go so well for cheeseheads as the Packers lost by a final score of 37 to 8. I have a feeing the matchup might be a little more competitive this time around.

I'll take the Chiefs, Andy Reid will lose in the SB. I haven't picked the Titans yet, I'm a slow learner.
And on the West coast I'll take the 49 ers who are playing with a great defense. Would love to see the Old Man Rogers win, but the San Fran D will be too much, plus having only 1 receiver is like playing with one arm tied behind your back

Last doubleheader of the season
Time to test the Super Bowl chili

That's what I'm figuring as well. But like as you said, the Titans against the Cheese heads would be a very good game as well.

Always root for the Packers in situations like this, when my suck-ass teams lose, as usual.

Just checked and GB has a population of like 109k. I'm in Wilmington, NC that has 119k in the city, about double that if you include others in say a 25mile radius.

Amazing that a town as small as GB, with an uninhabitable climate, can have a NFL team that does so well. Kudos. Hope they do well this evening.

And maybe we need to get a team in Wilmington!! Call them the Gnats.

The population of Santa Clara California is about 116,000.

KC vs 49ers is what I think it will be. But weird things happen with this year's packers team and Rodgers. Derrick Henry is an animal.

Just started the game and this is my hope, but really just looking forward to some good football.
These playoffs have been anything but predictable.

Kid's a winner for sure. Maybe he and Rodgers will get a chance to team up for a new State Farm commercial at the SB.

Like the Titans but great also to see Andy Reid and Chief’s going to SB

Looking like 49’rs going to be there too unless AR can pull a rabbit out of his ass in 2nd half
