Everyone exploits the rules in some way, the catcher scruffs the ball for the pitcher. The pitcher uses a substance, they cork bats, steal signs using eyesight. This time they used tech and thats a big no-no. Keep in mind you get booted from the game for all the other things I mentioned to.

One is just worse than the others. Big fines but not much more you can do.

Putting a camera in center field is a lot different than corking a bat or scruffing a ball

I just caught part of it today on a sports radio. If True, i'd take the banner down but that's not going to happen. I would fire every coach or front office person that was involved with 1 year suspension from the league.

Well I have to think the whole organization knew.

My personal opinion:

Vacate 2017 WS
Remove Altuve's MVP
Three year suspension for AJ Hinch
Forfeit next years first round pick

Guess the Yanks can give back all the wins and WS wins when they had Arod and Clemens all juiced up

Hmmmmm...interesting point. Not really valid tho considering there were 87 other players on the mitchell report as well. And putting a camera in center field using clubhouse employees to signal a breaking ball means its most likely means the whole organization knew about it.

Fun fact: As a side note, almost all the Yankees named on the mitchell report showed very poor seasons stats during this time. Steroids are not guaranteed to make you better player (not agreeing with using steroids btw). Knowing what pitch is coming your was is pretty damn close tho.

Even if you know the pitch you still have to hit the ball. Which still isn't easy to do.

Trust me I dont condone cheating at all. If its all true the Astros should be hit hard.

It is cheating. Whether or not cheating works should never be taken into account. A few teams just happen to dodge the asterisks.

I keep meaning to bug the mods to give us a sports forum. Even for baseball and golf discussions.

All professional sports are fixed, except golf....
OK, just kidding? I saw this thread about cheating in pro sports, figured it was about Patriots.

They are professional ball players..it dosent get much easier for them than knowing whats coming down the pike.

While a couple guys taking steroids is definitely wrong and is cheating, an ENTIRE organization setting up a camera to relay signs to the dugout for two years which clearly helped them achieve success ( a World Series title, numerous individual awards including an MVP, and 61 home games won 2019) is a lot worse

Funny Chapman and Rivera threw their Fastball and Cutter over and over. Even though they knew what was coming they still couldn't hit the ball.
