Ours is the Edgar Allen Poe poem The Raven. Mascot's name is Poe. EAP lived much of his life in Baltimore and died drunk in the street there. The bar where he got drunk the last night of his life is still there and operating.

There were a couple of options discussed including the Baltimore Bombers.

Cleveland Browns named after Paul Brown.

Not sure how the Rams got their name but they originated in Cleveland. First team in football to have a logo on their helmets.

The Redskins started out as the Boston Braves. When they started playing at Fenway, shared with the Red Sox, the name was changed to Redskins.

I heard that Daniel Snyder is fed up with all of the derogatory comments and negative connotations, so he has finally agreed to changing the name. He's dropping the "Washington".

Their motto is essentially win at any cost. At. Any. Cost.

(This is the part where someone will bring up Ray Lewis for some reason.)

Many aren't I don't subscribe to the " It is ok for us to do wrong because others are also doing it" excuse. A little closer to home you could have used UNC basketball.

I heard RG found his jacket in a room full of boxes of video tapes, but he and the owners said nothing.

At least you could admit that deflate gate was a farce.

Wait. So you are saying there is a magical room full of video tapes and Ray Lewis's jacket? And it is all a massive coverup?

Did you read about Ernie Adams? The video guru who had no official title with the organization?
