Default Saints-Texans

Damn. DAMN!!! Might be the best NFL game I've ever seen...the final few minutes was by far the best I've ever seen.

-Watson engineers a TD drive with little time remaining to tie the game
-Kicker misses the freaking extra point to end in a tie, but wait!
-Some bonehead plows into him so they get a do-over and he nails it. Texans up 1.
-Brees with less than a minute to go puts them into field goal position
-Kicker nails a career long FG with 2 seconds left to win the game

And Bourbon Street goes wild.

What a game.

Almost never watch MNF but I was stuck in an airport.

It was a great game.

That was a really good game. Some of those catches were nothing short of amazing.

Wow - did we watch the same game? PLOW is a little stretch. The kicker did a great job of playing dead after getting his toe touched.

I was a good game!

I just watched the highlights and did look like a good game with another controversial call according to Brees.

Didn't mean to exaggerate...plow was a bad term. Just meant he hit him....after the ball was past the freaking uprights. Had no bearing whatsoever on the horrible punt.

Great game. Saints shot themselves in the foot a few times but kept fighting. 6 sacks and Watson took a beating, but he is good! It was a heart stopper!

Watch again. The defensive player was already in the air when the ball was kicked. He actually had a good chance of blocking it. Unless you can change the laws of physics and gravity, he's going to land where he's going to land and while trying to block a kick, he's going to land very close the the kicker's feet - every time. It was a BS call as well as the one where they ran time off the clock that was already run down. Again, game changing mistakes by the refs for NO.

I love games like that. Especially when I don't have a rooting interest in the game and I can just enjoy it.

Hell of a game to watch

Knew when they left Brees 37 seconds and a time out it was basically a good chance they win with FG.

Easy to second guess but still not sure WHY no tight coverage on that next to last play, hell let them complete a 20-40 yard pass. No way they could stop clock in time and time expires. Short pass, hit ground and call timeout was a masterpiece . TRUE coaching

IF they do not get DW a damn O Line his career is going to be very very short. He can not keep taking a beating like he is now for a long career

DW showed what he was made of on last drive, he lives for that moment but too bad Texans D can not back him up
