And BOY the fans let into him at the preseason game

IF I am correct didn’t he miss entire 2017 season and was 2018 comeback player of years.

I don't watch football anymore but from what I understand he has made plenty of money and is getting out before major bodily harm. Sounds like one of the few smart guys playing the game IMO. and getting out before its too late.

Good for him.

Yeah screw his health and well being, it’s all about the franchise after all.

Not at all about his health issues, I agree he made the right decision. But as a top player you gotta think you are going to get fan blowback because of the timing.

Timing is irrelevant. His body, his life, his decision.

His leaving will be the best thing to happen to the Colts this year. Brissett will step up and do just as well as Luck did. But it must suck to go out having never won a single game against New England.

Because no companies ever lose absolutely critical employees at a bad time. How do you explain that to your customers.....? In New England, if Brady quit and you wanted your money back there are eighty thousand people who pay to be on a waiting list to get season tickets. I am sure you could get your $$ back.

A risk inherent in being a season ticket holder. Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson, Andrew Luck - sometimes greats retire young. Still, their body, their life, their choice.

As athletes and as employees, they owe us nothing. Season ticket holders have no basis to complain, they knew the inherent risks going in.

Kind of what I was thinking, If I read correctly the Colts are not asking for any of his signing bonus money back and this lets them keep rights to him.

Raiders???? He is CA guy if I am correct

He went to college in CA (Stanford) and graduated. He and Richard Sherman were on the same team. He is actually from D.C. and West Virginia. His dad is Oliver Luck from the Oilers and the AD for WVU.

Smart move. What good is having 100 million dollars if your long term health is no good.
