Default Byron Leftwich

Saw that Byron Leftwich is the offensive coordinator with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He hung out with my family and I one night back when he was with the Steelers. Exceptionally nice guy. Never got tired of throwing the ball to my kids or answering all the questions they would ask about what his playing. Hope he does well.

I watched the last few minutes of the game and saw that too. He did seem like a nice guy who just loved football, so I'm glad he's getting chances to continue as a coach.

I remember when he played for the Jaguars and had to have his teammates carry him to the line of scrimmage because he was hurting, but he kept on playing in a drive to win the game. That kind of heart wins people over.

I think he played with a broken leg at Marshall and won the game. It gave me hopes when the Jags got him. However he had one through, on a rope at 100 mph. And a arcing wind up. Edge rushers would swing around with there arms out every time. He was QB's coach under Ariens in Arizona. I wish him well also!
