Default Fathom 2 speed vs avet

Can anyone tell me roughly the size of the fathom 40 and 60. No one in my area has them in stock, and I would like to hold one before ordering them. Also the avet hx or hxw, I'm looking for something comparable in size to a tld 20.

TLD 20 is comparable to an Avet LX and the HX being like a TLD25. No idea on the Fathoms.

Avet HX has much less spool capacity than a TLD 20. I own them both. Avet HX is much more castable and a higher speed ratio. I use the HX for wahoo and the TLD for tuna. The HX binds at about 18# of drag @ strike.

I have fathom 30s and 60s, It has been awhile since I've held a TLD but I believe the 60 is close to the size of a TLD 25. Cant say which one would be closer to the 20 for sure but I would think the 30 or 40 would be close.

Fathom 40 and Avet HX are similar size. Fathom 60 and HXW are fairly close in size but the Fathom 60 has a top cross bar. Fathom fishes 40-60lb test well and in a pinch could be bumped up to 80 for a pinch. Fathom has a more moderate drag curve than the Avet.
Avet fished 40-50lb test well. You can bump it to 60 in a pinch but if you try and fish 20lbs of drag sustained, you will wear out some bearings.

I have the HX and the fathom 40. Great reels. You will be happy with either.

I have Penn Fathom 40s. Only slightly bigger than my palm honestly. I'm a regular size guy.

We have 4. Use them for chunking tuna up here in NJ. We love them!!! Never once let us down. We've caught bluefin tuna to 60 pounds and YF tuna to 80 pounds.
In the video below go to about 14:50 and you'll see them in comparison to my hands. Also just before that I am holding a Penn 113 old school senator. THis should help
