Default Betts Morada vs Barracuda Tackle Cast Net Video

I did a review of both of these nets if anyone is shopping for either of these nets.

Please leave some feedback on the comment section of the video if possible. Thanks!

Iím in the market for 8ft 3/8Ē mesh net and was leaning towards Barracuda Pro that you high lighted in the video.

Did you throw both nets? Any comments on ease of throw, spread, sink, close?

In the net size Iím considering there is a $40 difference 149 vs 189. Betts vs Barracuda, with 1.6lb lead per foot the Betts Morada compares more closely with the Barracuda Custom which is $219.

Even with Barracudas better warranty the cost of 3 nets is still cheaper with Betts

However, money isnít everything if it sucks in comparison when throwing.

FWI my 8' Barracuda weights 15lbs. It's heavy for an 8 footer but it's the reason I bought it.Custom version.

I havnt thrown them in the water, just on the grass. Both opens really nice but I got the Barracuda to open a little easier for me since it was lighter then the betts by 2.5lbs. And being a short guy doesnt really help. If you find the betts is cheaper in the long run, id go with the betts. I loved the handline and the color scheme on the Betts. But like I said in the video. If I had to buy a cast net, these 2 would be at the top of my list.
