Default Costa vs pelagic

I have a couple pairs of costa and really like them. I a wondering if the pelagic glasses let mor light through the lense making them better for low light sight fishing?

I have 2 sets of Costas. One Is the blue darker style for offshore and the other is a brown. The brown lenses are great for shallow flats fishing as they let in more light. I have found that them work really well on those cloudy days offshore where the blue lenses make it to dark.

I was given 4 pairs of pelagic sunnies and was not impressed. I gave them away after 1month. Coating on the inside of the lenses started wearing off in the first week.

Same as kiwi
Coating on inside seems to be coming off.
Doesn't sem to affect vision yet but can't recall it ever happening on any other glasses ??

Pelagic doesnt make glass lense just plastic. Costa makes both types. However for low light conditions look for a photochromic lense that adjusts. Smith has a bunch. Or my favorite pair is Maui "world cup" stg-bg It only blocks 80% of visible light.
ps- I just checked and it looks like maui jim as discontinued the Gt lense in the world cup frame. However they are still putting the gt lense in some other frames. https://www.mauijim.com/US/en_US/sho...wrap/byron-bay
