That's a GREAT video - Thanks!

I have had trouble with one side of the net not opening; I'm thinking putting the piece of net over the elbow might be the key I need. I bought an extra net to keep at home and practice with but it's been too darned cold. It's about ten below right now outside.

Darcie - Your video is great too.

This can't possibly work. Where are all the complicated twists and bunches? And why are you not holding that lead line in your teeth?!?

Now that the sarcasm is over... Seriously. Nice video!

Basically the same as over the shoulder which might cause less fatigue if you have wait around for bait to be i the right position.
I would also worry more about the weight sliding off the arm in heavier seas. However it does look better for distance and a quicker release.

Great video! Can't wait to apply the tips. Right now I feel like I'm a 5 year old every time I throw my net...

Nice video. Been along time since I threw a net but will be using one this summer in the Keys. Need to get a little practice in before we go so I can get nice round throws and not Banana's.
