I have had trouble with one side of the net not opening; I'm thinking putting the piece of net over the elbow might be the key I need. I bought an extra net to keep at home and practice with but it's been too darned cold. It's about ten below right now outside.

Basically the same as over the shoulder which might cause less fatigue if you have wait around for bait to be i the right position.
I would also worry more about the weight sliding off the arm in heavier seas.However it does look better for distance and a quicker release.

Nice video. Been along time since I threw a net but will be using one this summer in the Keys. Need to get a little practice in before we go so I can get nice round throws and not Banana's.
